Flipped Classroom

Teachers everywhere are making their classrooms more student-centered and using their class time more efficiently by flipping some of their lessons. This tip is a collaborative effort. I’ve provided some of my favorite resources and have given you an easy way to share your ideas too.

  1. Great list! I’d add edpuzzle.com which allows you to chose a segment of another’s video or use your own, and embed questions for students during the viewing. Students can rewatch, but can’t ‘scrub’ ahead. They have to watch the video at least once, and you get feedback on who does.

  2. Great list Tammy! Would love to add Team Glean to the list. Great site with free math and science videos for teachers and students. Also, there is an adaptive learning component and other new features being added. Please check them out at http://www.glean.co and let me know what you think. 🙂
