*Class Tweeter Template

Want to use Twitter with students, but don’t want to mess with logins? Afraid to use Twitter because it can’t be teacher-moderated? If your answer to either question is yes, then I have a solution for you. I have created a mock-twitter board that is pretty cool if I do say so myself!

  1. Make sure you are logged in to your Google account.
  2. Click the link above and make a copy of the template.
This will put the spreadsheet into your Google Drive. Once it’s there, you can use it over and over!

  1. Is there a way to change the image of the bird? I would like to customize this so that it matches our school mascot. However, if I just delete the bird and add our mascot, the bird still appears on the actual feed next to the students’ names.

    Any help is appreciated!

Love this by the way 🙂

    • Yes – Pull down the View menu to “Hidden Sheets” and choose “Data.” On the data sheet, go to cell A4 and replace the URL that is there with the URL of your desired image.

  2. I love this – especially for younger students. Great way to introduce them to summarizing their thoughts and an awesome intro to social media.

  3. This is just what I was looking for! We are discussing Social Media and this is a good starting point.
