Connecting an iPad to a Projector

You can connect most iPads and iPhones to a projector and mirror the display!
Note – Video mirroring does not work with the original iPad or any iPhone before the 4s.


Wired options:

Connect directly to projector with:
Apple iPad Doc Connector ($25)

Newer  iPads require a different connector:

  1. I love using the iPad to connect to the projector, but I have run into one issue and wondered if anyone else has had this problem. If I try to display a video from an iPad, the device cannot send the video and audio at the same time, so the video shows and the audio is heard with a slight delay. It’s like watching a film with an audio track that is not synched. Any suggestions for how to fix this?
